Andrea McLean

LCPC, LPC, NCC - Director of Business Development/ Co-Owner

Andrea McLean is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who specializes in individual, group, and family counseling. Andrea is licensed in Maryland, Washington, DC and is nationally certified. Andrea received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bowie State University. She holds membership in two academic honor societies; Alpha Chi National Honor Society and Psi Chi National Honor Society. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
 

      Andrea has experience providing therapy in residential, educational, and clinical settings and has worked with a broad spectrum of clients. Nonetheless, her primary department and love tend to be working with children and adolescents. Her specialties include anger management, stress management, anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem issues, and substance abuse. Andrea’s therapeutic orientation is eclectic. She believes every person and problem is unique and must be viewed differently.

     As a counselor and mother, Andrea is compassionate, caring, and strives to educate, empower, and encourage her clients to reach their full potential. When Andrea is not counseling, she is mentoring, participating in community events, traveling, or spending quality time with family and friends.

Jasmine White

Jasmine White is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland, and is a Nationally certified Counselor (NCC) as well . Her area of expertise encompasses Trauma, Anxiety, Major life adjustments, behavioral issues, acute psychosis and co-occurring disorders. Jasmine received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, from Bowie State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Winston-Salem State University. Jasmine is currently in her last year of her Ph.D program for Organizational Leadership, at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

 

Jasmine has received extensive training on Trauma-Informed Care, along with Metropolitan Gang Activity. She  has served as members on both of these boards, in Fairfax County Juvenile Court service units. Jasmine belongs to the Psi Chi National Honor Society, The Golden Key International Honor Society and The Society for Leadership and Success.

      

Jasmine’s experience in the discipline of mental health includes providing therapeutic services to the public and private sectors (juvenile justice, residential, community-based, and educational institutions). Her client base is diverse but her primary population has been at-risk, teenage girls.  Jasmine’s therapeutic modalities of preference and practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Family Therapy. Generally, Jasmine practices eclecticism, as she believes that utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices is more comprehensive.

    

Jasmine conveys to whomever she encounters that the field of counseling chose her.  Her tumultuous childhood experiences paired with her burning desire to empower the community to manifest their life’s purpose, drew her to the discipline. Jasmine finds delight in servicing families. She is committed to the dispersion of mental health education. She is also committed to the prevention of negative stigmas associated with counseling, due to unfamiliarity and access to essential services.
